Joint Replacement

Dr. Leo Joseph, who underwent his training in joint replacement surgery at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, London, has subsequently done two fellowships, one with Prof Peter Sculler at the St Vincentius Hospital, Karlsruhe, Germany and subsequently, again at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, London with Mr. John Skinner

Dr. Leo Joseph specializes in joint replacement surgery including complex reconstructions of the hip and knee joints and has accomplished many complex surgeries in the last 10 years since his return from England. To his credit, he was also the first surgeon to do a complex revision total hip replacement for a very difficult case many years before at Thanjavur. His skills have been recognized in India at the national level as well, and he has been a national faculty giving lectures on Joint Replacement surgery at national level meetings including the Indian Society Of Hip and Knee surgeons conferences for the years 2012 and 2013 and for the Joint Replacement State of the Art meetings (JRSOA) held during the years 2011 and 2013. He has to his credit multiple other presentations at various national meetings as well.
